Handwoven leg wraps (winingas)

Leg wraps are an essential part of an ancient wardrobe.
From the Roman Empire, Migration period, Viking age, and Medieval 
times, hand-woven wraps performed the function of additional 
protection, keeping warm in everyday life and fixing the legs 
during long hikes.

Our Leg wraps, woven by hands from 100% wool, repeat the motifs 
and proportions of archaeological textiles. This version is an 
extended version of the leg wraps, designed for those who want more 
length and bigger volume. We’re using only European wool, for us 
it’s important to keep the local origin of products.
